You are totally startled by his arrogance, and the boldness with which he simply invaded your home, got himself a drink and left his sweat on your furniture with absolute casualness. 'You... My name is Steve, not Stevie! And you get up now, finish your drink, take the books and get out of here. Now!' you say, trying to sound assertive and self-assured, but your words sound weak, even in your own ears.
Josh just leans back, confidently looking at you and says 'Relax, man. I can't go home with pain in my ankle. I could slip and break my leg, and we don't want that, do we? Because than I would feel bad, my brother wouldn't get his books and write a bad paper which would make him feel bad too. And all of this because you had a little temper you could not control. That's very impolite, you know?' With this he takes the TV remote and starts zapping through the channels, while you stand there like an idiot, desperately looking for strong words. 'This can't be true!' You think. 'He has no right to be here at all and he is three years younger than you! Now find your balls, and make him leave!!', so you take all your confidence, walk over and throw the books in his lap. 'Get up. My friend will be coming every second, and when he is here I don't want him to come in and see you sitting here with your stinking feet on the table. So get out the f**k now!' You yell, nearly losing control over your voice, but Josh doesn't seem to be too impressed.
He turns his head towards you and looks you straight in the eyes. 'Listen, little buddy. I am exausted, and I need a few minutes of rest, and you bitch and scream at me like a stupid brat wanting his candy. I am not going to leave right now just because you burst in tears otherwise, so you better SHUT UP now and treat me with proper respect!' You can not believe what is happening and you can not believe that you don't find the right words to set some limits. You shift your gaze downwards, feeling helpless and shocked by the severe tongue-lashing you just received from this younger boy.
'Hahahaha, that's the right place to look at. Why don't you just sit down on the floor next to the couch, Stevie?' he chuckled. 'My name is not St...' you say, but he cuts you off 'Oh, maybe you can get me another drink before you make yourself comfortable. Remember my friend, the quicker I am refreshed, the quicker I am going to leave again.'
