The next morning, you felt surprisingly strong and refreshed. You stumbled out of bed, wondering why you seemed so off balance and made your way to the bathroom where you saw who you assumed was your twin brother, Tex. "Oh, sorry." Sleepily, you muttered.
You turned to leave the bathroom but froze and turned back to find that you were not looking at Tex but at the bathroom mirror! You rushed up to it then looked down at yourself to find that you were no longer a girl but a boy! "What the heck!?"
"Good morning, Jessica." Appearing behind you, dad said. "Or is it Jessie now?"
You whipped around, blushing and confused. "Dad! What happened to me!?"
"Remember that secret you were dying to know?" Smiling, dad asked. You nodded, still stunned. "Well, I and all of your brothers possess the power of chaotic energy. Some may call it magic but that is such an old term. We prefer mad science."
"I- I'm in a family of mad scientists?" Frightened, you asked.
Dad nodded. "I changed your gender so to offer you a taste of that power." Calmly, he said. "You will change back in roughly twelve hours."
You looked around, nervous. "Des James, Tex, or Matt know you did this to me?"
