Nina finds herself in a laboratory, in front of an unfinished gizmo. She looks around to see that the lab looks very animesque. She then realizes that the lab IS animesque; it's the lab of the Briefs family from Nina's favorite anime, Dragon Ball Z! She then tries to rub her eyes, only to notice that her hands are animesque too. In fact, she looks down at her body to see that it, too, is animesque, plus the outfit she is wearing has the Capsule Corp. logo on it. No doubt about it, this is the body of Bulma Briefs. She sees in a small mirror near the gizmo her head, still real-life-y, is on top of the body.
"My God," Nina says to herself. "Farley's invention worked! A bit too well, I guess."
