Mammalian Canadian

         The neighbors who moved in from British Columbia yesterday seem to be finishing their unpacking. A tall, dark haired husband, and an expecting wife, who appear to be parents of three - a little girl, a boy who looks a little older than Andy, and one who looks around your age.

         The father of the family had called your name, and you remembered him as one of your dad's business friends. His name was John, which seemed to be the only fitting name for someone of his stature. He was thin and tall, and he had dark hair and a mustache that seemed to hide his upper lip. He seemed to fit a stereotype, but you couldn't quite think of anything that matched that, but his plaid shirt and worn jeans just screamed father.

         His wife was a little shorter than your mom, and a good 3 inches shorter than you. She looked like a sweet woman who wore a modest dress and smiled a lot. Her hair was curly and strawberry blond, and looked like she would make good friends with your mother.

         After responding to John with a wave and a smile, you glance past his wife and look at their children. Two of them look fine, but one of them is.. not human!

          Your mouth hangs agape, and you can't believe your eyes! One of their children is not human, and that child is..
