A sapphire creature stood tall in front of you, enormous and gallant. Its beautiful cerulean, crystal-like scales reflected the sunlight as the dragon moves closer towards you. It lowers its head until its eyes are only a head above yours - blue and bright. You freeze, unable to move, as the dragon speaks.
"A human child," it says, its voice low and hoarse, "how rare. Do tell me - why are you here?"
You look at the dragon, afraid but enthralled, you wonder if you should escape but the calm look it gives you ease you a little bit. "I... I'm lost."
The dragon lifts its head, still looking at you. "I can find you a way home."
You hesitate, because you cannot recall whether you have a place to return to. "I don't really... have a home."
The dragon stands still, and there is a quiet moment as it scans you with its azure eyes. Perhaps the dragon wonders why you do not have a home, but it doesn't seem to be suspicious of you. It takes a step back and waves its tail which, in a flash, turns into a magnificent mid-air river flowing around you.
"My name is Stagna," it says. "If you don't have a place you belong to, you can come with me."
