Chapter #5His father Tanner?! by: Thurgood As decisions went, it wasn't the most obvious. But what the hell. Seeing his father pregnant would be good for a laugh if nothing else. And even if this amulet were to be trusted, he could always take it out later with no one being the wiser! To top it all off, his poor parents were so hard at work to secure a good retirement: it was about time they stopped to claim their reward. And, well, a new baby would be just the ticket! Not to mention his mother had already carried two...why burden her further?
Eh, it was all a joke, anyway. Brandon decided to complete the ruse for completion's sake. The gentle hum through his bones stilled at the decision flowing to his index finger. Just one digit under the table pointing at his old man, imagine the deed being done...the amulet glowed under his shirt, he could tell.
PING!
...Huh? What happened? Everything seemed fine. His father seemed the same as before, eating spaghetti at the...ah. At the rather tall table.
And suddenly, Ashley stood up to get a second bowl of spaghetti, setting it down in front of Tanner. His eyes following the bowl, she set it down next to the first, which was being steadily and vigorously emptied by his old man.
"You and those three are really after my sauce!", exclaimed Ashley. "I've never had such a satisfied diner since you got pregnant, hon, this is uncharted territory!"
Those...three?! Perhaps he was a bit too enthusiastic...but his father finished the bowl with spaghetti sauce clinging to his beard here and there, set it down, and beamed like he had just closed a million dollar deal.
"It's world-class pasta, hon!" He slapped his stomach. "Of course these boys would want every little strand they could get, haha! It'll make them big and strong."
"...It'll mostly just make you big, though." Brandon found himself commenting.
Tanner chuckled, and Brandon could hear his father's hands rubbing his stomach through his shirt. He motioned for Brandon to lean in. "Well, don't say this to the girls...", the pregnant man whispered, "But I hope so. This has been a revelation for me. Hell, I might even do it again, if I can close that deal!"
His dad seemed to...like being pregnant? His mood certainly improved from before, even if just a little. Brandon reached under his shirt and palmed the amulet. If he really did seem to enjoy this...then taking it away would just deprive him of joy. And Brandon had to admit that having some little brothers started to appeal to him. Well, then. If Dad wanted to be pregnant, then pregnant he would be! Merry Early Christmas!
He stretched his arms above him and pulled back in his chair, pulling up his skin-tight shirt to unveil a massive, round, and slightly hairy tummy. He must have been just a hair away from bumping into the table with that thing! His father was huge! As if reading Brandon's thoughts, Tanner scooted back from the table just a bit before going to devour the second bowl. He did it with just his right hand this time, keeping his left on his very big belly, kinda like how his high school chemistry teacher did sometimes when she was expecting.
"Dad, could you please wear a bigger shirt?", complained Sarah. "It's jarring to see your gut every time you move."
Their mother tutted at her and replied: "And wait for that shirt to get ruined as well? He's only six months pregnant; he's only going to get bigger. He might as well burst through his old shirts and clear out some closet space."
Tanner nodded as he slurped down another massive forkful of noodles.
Something his dad just said came into focus: if I can close that deal. So it was like he thought: Tanner was still working at the office, six months pregnant with triplets, as a 50 year old man. Damned if he wasn't the hardest working man Brandon ever knew! Still...that couldn't be good for him. Something had to be done. | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
