It's the 1920s, the Samsas are now residing in a small apartment as the Samsas are trying to get over the passing of their former son, Gregor Samsa.
Mr. and Mrs. Samsa are struggling to save up their finance problems, while Grete grown into a gorgeous and pretty lady. Recently, she had been married to Gretyl Samsa, an animator in the new animation business, who had three friends:
Kate Wurf, photographer of the new TIME magazines from New York City.
Matthew Pride, a unit of the Irish Republican Army that currently fighting in the Irish Civil War.
And Karl Matt Jr, a coming-of-age filmmaker looking for the "perfect leading beauty queen for my new smash hit", "Attack of the Martian Androids: Part Deux".
The four are trying to get along, but due to their own problems, they refuse to do so, like Grete neglecting to become the lead female role in Karl's new film and Matthew's fear of controversy and bashing if the news broke out about the Civil War.
But then one night, something begins to happens to one of them...
