Harry was so engrossed in the little kid's book he was reading while he sucked on his thumb he did not even realize someone else came into the secret kid section of the Hogwart's library. That is until a surprised voice called out making Harry jump in his seat, "Potter?" Harry blushed as he looked up through lidded eyes at the platinum haired boy who was staring wide at Harry in shock. Which only grew as rather than making excuses Harry began to actually cry. Draco looked utterly shocked as he looked around as if hoping someone would show up to do something about the crying boy.
As no one show up and Harry bawled to himself and curled into himself Draco felt something he never expected a want to protect Harry from harm. Without any thought about what he was doing Draco hurried forward and wrapped his arms around Harry and pulled his crying rival into his chest letting the boy. "It is okay Harry let it all out," Draco said in a soft voice he would never thought possible when talking to Harry as he began to rub his hands in small circles on Harry's back in hopes of calming the other boy down. To his surprise it actually seemed to help Harry who crying began to stop leading him to hiccup as into Draco's chest. As Harry calmed down he reached up and took hold of the front of Draco's robes in an almost iron grip.
"M' sowwy you hate Harry?" Harry asked in a very childish voice muffled as he spoke right into Draco's chest.
"It's okay little one," Draco said in a calm voice still rubbing Harry's pack.
