Lin buys a ring

Lin couldn't stopping looking at a ring. The ring was gold and there were two red gems on it.

"This ring made the previous owner quite a sensation." the shop keeper said.

"How so?" Lin asked.

"I'm sure you'll understand how if you purchase the ring."

Lin didn't like the shop keeper wasn't telling her anything about the ring, but Lin felt like she didn't want anyone else to have it. "I'll take it!" Lin exclaimed. She paid for the ring and left the shop.

"Yes." the shop keeper said as she watched Lin leave. "That ring will help you out in a big way."

Lin looked at her ring as she walked home. "This ring really is pretty." she said.
