This choice: More stuff to do while out • Go Back...Chapter #5More stuff to do while out by: ibloc "OK, where are we off to now?" You ask Lauren.
"I've got a haircut appointment in 30 but we can show up early. I was thinking about not chopping it down into a bob cut though, like we had talked about. I kind of like it long now," she checks out the velour backpack she just got, "oh wow!" She pulls out a bunch of makeup, it all looked new, there was a small clutch inside the backpack that was also pink velour. It has no cards, but was loaded fully with about a hundred single dollar bills.
"A cell phone too?" She pulled out a pink smartphone, it looked like it has been professionally bejeweled. She clicked it on, "that's funny, it's like a new phone or something. It's totally empty, no contacts,"
"Do you think we should bring some of this stuff back to the thrift store?"
"I mean, I really don't want to miss this haircut appointment," she went through the backpack more, and pulled out a pack of Virginia Slim menthol 100's or and made a nasty face, "eww, so glad I never picked up smoking," she tucked the cigarettes back into her bag.
You turn the corner into the mini mall parking lot with the hair dressers place. Lauren laughs loudly and raises her hand, a dozen XXL condoms accordion fall back down into her bag, and she looks over at you with a stunned face, "We're going to open one of these up and see how it stacks up against you,"
She grins and hops or if the car as you park, "OK see you in about an hour, I'll call you," Lauren slings her pink velour backpack over her shoulder and skips off towards the hairdresser. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
