"Well," John looks up at the crystal clear sky, the sun radiating warmth upon the city, "it's such a lovely day. How about a walk in the park?" The pink hedgehog giggles, covering her mouth with one hand, "That sounds lovely, the weather is perfect for a walk." She takes the pleasantly surprised boy by the hand, causing his cheeks to turn a bright red, and half walks with, half drags him along. As they walk along they chat, she asks him about where he's from, what his interests are, what brought him to Times Square. He answers truthfully when he can, but of course avoids answering things that would make him sound crazy. He keeps turning the conversation back to her, even though he knows plenty about her from the games he finds himself needing to know more. The cute anthro girl positively capturing his attention. Talking to her seems so easy, and her laughter lightens his very heart.
After a while the young woman notices she's still holding her new friends hand, and removes it, blushing as she apologizes. "I'm sorry," she looks down embarrassed, "we just met and here I am strolling along hand in hand like we're dating." He chuckles, a friendly smile across his face, "Oh, no need to apologize. I've been having a wonderful time. In fact this is the most fun I've had in a long long time. In fact, why don't we make a date of it? I must admit you are lovely, and so sweet." "OH, umm..." she stammers, her blush growing deeper in shade, "S... sure." Despite her looking at the ground, the gentle smile crossing her face is clearly evident, "I would like that a lot." Her hand is suddenly clasped again in the hand of her new friend turned date, "Well then, shall we continue?" He asks to help ease her nerves, "You were telling me about your distrust of machines?" She smiles at him, "Well it's hard not to when it seems like every other day your friends are being attacked by them." Just like that the evening is back on course, and even better than before, now it's not just a walk with a new friend, it's a date with a cute girl.
Eventually the sun begins to set, and she looks mystified to the street lights as the spring to bright life. "Oh wow, it's gotten so late. I guess it's true, time really does fly when you're having fun." She looks to her companion, "So where are you staying? Is it on the way to my house?" He looks sheepish, "Actually... I just got to town today, I haven't found a place just yet." Her smile grows slightly devious "Oh, well then, how about we..."
