They took a vote, and 3 out of 4 said to press onward. The only one who voted against going ahead was Glen and since he was their leader he overrode the vote. The four of them preceded back the way they came. Heading, dejected back the their village to await whatever fate had in store for them. They were halfway home when Justin just plain disappeared. He had been right there a second ago and now they had no idea where he was.
Ricko thought he heard him in the tall shrubs to the left so he raced into them hoping to find his friend quickly. Nick started to join him when Glen yelled.
"Just where do you think you're going?"
" I need to help find Justin," he explained a little taken aback by the question.
"No, we already are missing two of us. If you go then I don't know where anyone is," Glen stated matter-of-factually.
Now there was a huge problem. It was getting dark and they had no camp set up yet. Glen and Nick could make it back to the village and start out again in the morning or they could continue the search at night.
