You notice yourself becoming rather weak. Whether it's your new size or simply the overpowering scent of shoe oil, you need to rest. The jump will take a lot more effort, so it's best you recover from your climb. You can see it's early in the morning from the light coming in the store's large domed windows. You imagine them as skyscrapers shimmering in the big city as you lay down on the cardboard surface for a quick rest. "Just... to catch... my breath...", you whisper as your eyes droop and you fall asleep.
"..."
(THUD)
You awake to a sudden vibration, bouncing your small form against your cardboard bed. After realizing that you were still your same small self, and that the cause of the vibrations were again, Kicks' movements as he moved past you to another table. You see him straighten some displays near the window. The light had become less harsh, so you imagine it's sometime around midday.
As the vibrations slowed once again by Kicks stopping across the room, you balance yourself on the box once again. You feel a little better about being able to jump the gap to the table, and hopefully to someone's attention. As you ready yourself to jump to the table, Kicks begins to move again. You're at a good height, and Kicks is moving really close to you this time. Should you jump to the safety of the table, or should you try and get Kicks' attention from the pile of boxes as he passes?
