This choice: ...Pete, the diligent mailman • Go Back...Chapter #3Morning Delivery by: Blind It started off like such a normal day, too.
You had gotten up, gotten dressed, made yourself breakfast, and all the usual things you did as the mayor of the town. The birds outside were chirping (though whether that was one of your neighbors or not was hard to tell) the sun was out, and everything just felt right.
Until you left your house, that is.
As you sat in your living room, eating a bowl of cereal, you heard that familiar noise: the sound of your mailbox being flagged up by Pete, as he delivered the usual mail. You would set your bowl down, heading to your front door, with the bright sunlight from the windows-- Wait, that was MUCH too bright.
Blindingly, in fact.
When you opened your eyes, you were outside. Something was wrong, however. Very wrong, in fact. As your vision readjusted, you would notice something very startling:
You were no more than half a foot tall. Possibly smaller, even.
Your door remained closed behind you, unfortunately. It seemed that whatever had done this to you had warped you outside. Pete, still loading up your mailbox with all the letters you had gotten over the weekend, seemed to loom over you. When he finally finished up, he would turn towards the door, hoping to catch you for a bit of morning conversation before continuing on his route.
Did Pete see you? You have the following choices: 1. Yes2. No indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
