Natalie was heading back from sending her son off to college when she saw a cool little antique shop. Natalie was quite the antique collector, she would buy items fix em up and sell them on ebay for a profit. Although she also had a part-time job she didn't really need to her widow's life insurance would keep her and her family well-off for the rest of their lives, but that didn't mean she couldn't have fun making more money. They certainly weren't rich either, but all three of her children would be able to get educations with their trusts, she had enough to retire on, and the house was paid off. Other than that she paid for the day to day things with her job, her hobby, and very safe investments.
She got into the store and wasn't seeing much of interest. The old lady shop owner spotted her and knew immediately what Natalie needed. "Ah, I think I know exactly what you are looking for." The old lady said.
"Do you?" Natalie was skeptical she really hadn't seen anything at all so far.
The old lady went behind the desk and pulled out a golden scroll. Natalie looked at the scroll as the air seemed to shimmer around it. "I think you'll find that this is what you need."
"...yes...I...yes..." Natalie murmured as she stared deeply at the scroll. She slowly walked towards the desk and register and dumbly fumbled through her purse until she revealed a credit card. The old lady took the card and swipe it through. She then handed the scroll to Natalie whom without a word walked slowly out of the shop.
"Good doing business with you." The old lady smiled wickedly.
The next thing Natalie knew she was in her card driving home, she looked at the clock and noticed she had been on the road for over an hour already, and was nearly home.
