Claire could hardly believe what she was seeing. She still had no idea where she was or how she had gotten there but that had suddenly become the least of her concerns. A giant creature had emerged from the thicket next to her. It seemed to be some kind of dinosaur but that was impossible, right? Dinosaurs were long extinct. Of course, Claire had still not pieced together that she had been transported millions of years into the past by a malicious spirit. If she had been a bit brighter and knew a bit more about dinosaurs, she might know that she was looking at a Carnotaurus, one of the most dangerous creatures she could have encountered in her new prehistoric home. What she did know was that it was in her best interest to get out of there as quick as she could before she was discovered.
As Claire attempted to sneak off however, the Carnotaurus just happened to look in her direction and saw here. Letting out a roar, it immediately began advancing towards the former social climber. Claire let out a scream and took off running as fast as she could, hoping to lose the beast somewhere in the marshy forest. Of course the beast easily kept pace with her and it'd only be a matter of time before Claire became his lunch.
From your vantage point of the situation, you observed the desperate plight of Claire Argent with moderate interest. You'd been hoping that she would last a bit longer before her inevitable demise, but it looked like she wouldn't make it past the first five minutes of being in the past. You were almost tempted to help her get away from the creature. You could easily remove the dinosaur so that Claire had a slightly better chance at survival. Or you could teleport her to a different time or place and add to her confusion. Then again, you had a lot of humans to torture, not just this one. Maybe you were best to let her get eaten. There were still ways for your magic to make that entertaining after all. After quickly weighing your options, and with Claire still running for her life, you made your choice.
