Lisa contemplated her options for a few moments longer, but ultimately she didn’t want to be either of these women. “I’m still interested in possibly selling my life but I don’t think Victoria and Amber are what I’m looking for. Do you have any other options?”
Tina silently lamented the loss of a sale to the women but didn’t reveal it to Lisa. She’s a professional after all, and there will be other opportunities. “Well Ms. Hale, there are still other choices for you. It’s not usually someone’s first choice but there are clientele who I believe are familiar to you looking for a new life.”
Hearing that people she may know personally are seeking permanent new lives was a bit of a shock and Lisa quite couldn’t believe it. “Could you tell me who they are?” Tina nods and pulls out a couple of manila folders, searching through them and compiling a list of ones she believes Lisa would recognize before handing it over.
“Tom, Megan’s mom… even my mom’s name is here?! And there’s still more people! I had no idea they were looking for new lives.” Tina expected a reaction like that, most people are shocked when they hear their friends and family are seeking new lives after all.
