Pan-Li, with you on her shoulder, hopped on the bus and paid the fair for you both, telling the driver something, to which the monster nodded before she sat down. You had to wonder where you two were going, seeing as she had spoken in chinese. As the bus drove on, you saw that it was taking you into the chinatown section of the city.
You shrug that off, a lot of monsters with chinese origins stay there, and you could be doing an interview. Nothing unusual...just so long as you didn't have to put up with snobby types like that Jiang Shi you knew before you were kicked out of Horrorville...that blue deva bitch, Vivian. Never wanted to see her again.
You partner on this got up and exited the bus after a few blocks into the heart of chinatown and walked to someone's house. Huh...looks like interview it is. You wonder who you meeting...hoped that they spoke english. It'd be a pain if they didn't.
Pan-Li seemed to know exactly where she was going, which part of you found odd. But setting up a private interview this may not have been too unusual.
She raised a paw/hand and knocked on one of the doors and it opened. Odd thing was it was as though the door hadn't been opened from the inside...more like it was stuck.
The panda-girl and you entered the cozy little apartment. It had a simple design. A desk, a table, and a bed occupied the larger room. Naruto saw a small kitchen and a bathroom at the far end.

Suddenly, Pan-Li's hand-paw reached up and she held it out to you, palm-up. You climbed onto it, then...

She started squeezing you! While your bones and organs weren't damaged, the pain was too much and you passed out...
When you awoke, your whole body hurt, and were those...?
Your eyes widened. BARS?! Bolting to your feet, you see Pan-Li sitting in the desk chair, smiling at you with triumph.
You were caught in a chinese cricket cage!
Pan-Li smiled at you as she stood up and walked over to her answering machine and pressed a button on it. As soon as she did, you heard Lexi's voice come over it.
Hello jinx! In case Li's playing this message for you, that means our plan worked! Now you'll never again cause me any trouble at the office! I was going to kill you, but this is a lot more satisfying! I hope you know I'll be posting you in the obituaries column so nobody looks for you! In the meantime, enjoy belonging to Pan-Li as her property that she can do as she pleases to whenever she wants for...ho, you'll love this--THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!
After that, the message was your boss's laughing and it turned off. Leaving you stunned.
You couldn't believe this! You were...this was Pan-Li's...your boss literally sold you out and now you were Pan-Li's PROPERTY?! No way!
You were brought back from your shock as Pan-Li sat back down at her desk and her massive, black furred feet propped up in front of you and the toes wiggled, knocking against your prison. The Pandaren laughed as you pulled uselessly at the bars. You don't bother yelling at her to let you out...she couldn't understand you anyways. Ho man! what did she want with you?!
Pan-Li smiled.
