Chapter #6Tori's Shrinking Nightmare by: Haro-Haze Tori Vega was really nervous about her part in Sikowitz's latest play in the Hollywood Arts amphitheater, because he had made it clear to all his students that agents from all across Los Angeles would be in attendance, scouting talented actors and actresses.
This gave both and her friends participating in the play a huge chance to make it big as an actor or actress in Hollywood, making her even more nervous that she might mess something up during her performance. Sure most of her friends would forgive her, but her talentless sister Trina and Jade might not be so understanding.
For these reasons she was working extra hard to not only memorize her lines, but the actions of her character throughout the entirety of the play perfectly. She had almost reached her goal and was about to leave Hollywood arts when something unexpected happened.
Tori gagged and clutched her stomach, thinking something she had eaten was about to make a second appearance, perhaps the Sushi she had enjoyed for lunch at Nozu’s, or the cupcakes Cat had made for her.
Strangely however, she didn’t throw up, instead she became very dizzy all of a sudden, deciding to take a seat in a nearby metal folding chair she had set up for her seen. Tori extended her hand out away from her body to feel for the chair, that was before she found it literally hitting her in the face.
“Oww! What the heck?” Tori yelled, shocked by the sudden rush of pain to her face as her body fell back onto the floor. Looking up though she saw that she had nobody to blame but herself as only the singular metal chair she had set up was standing above her.
“Wait, I don’t remember that chair being so tall.” Tori said to herself as she rose back up to her feet to discover that the chair was standing at a height that rivaled her own. At first she assumed that someone was simply playing a trick on her, that was until the chair suddenly double in height right before her eyes.
“Okay! That did not just happen!” Tori yelled, trying to convince herself that she wasn’t going crazy and that the chair in front of her was not growing in size. However a quick look around the room revealed that she was right, the chair was not growing in size, she was somehow shrinking.
“Whoa!” Tori sounded out as the chair grew again from her perspective, making it four times taller than her now.
“Whoa!” she shrunk again, wondering how small she would become before this nightmare ended, the metal chair now about forty feet tall compared to her.
“Whoa!” once again Tori shrunk in size, now one sixteenth the size of something she was easily able to sit one before.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! ” she shrieked, as she entered the final stages of her shrinking process, getting smaller and smaller in three short bursts until the metallic chair towered above her like a large building. This left Tori at what she could only assume was an inch tall, based off her surroundings and the size of the room, at the very least it appeared to her that she had stopped shrinking.
Before Tori could make her next move and begin her search for someone to help her get back to normal, __________ opened the door to the room she had been practicing in. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
