"Jake! This IS real, and not some drug hallucinations" You sister yells from the your mom's hand, though its not that loud due to her Barbie size. You continue to blankly stare at her, still confused at the logic of any of this.
"Mom, I.." You begin to say to her before you suddenly watch her shrink down in size rapidly. She quickly passes the size of Melody, shrinking further. You see that your sister is on the floor, catching herself before falling backwards on you now tiny mother. Melody turns around and begins to inspect your mom, who is now Barbie doll size to her. You see them converse, tho not able to understand your mother due to the size, difference. Shaking your head, you just begin to attempt to ignore them, still believing it wasn't real. You pass them back to your room, shutting the door behind you.
You walk around to your bed and set down on it to inspect your room, everything seems normal, maybe it really is some crazy drugs you were spiked with. Rubbing you head, you grab you phone from the nightstand and begin to inspect it and go online. You notice you signal is weak and you are not on wifi, turning on your cell data, you manage to get a connection. You see normal stuff, how ever you see some news articles, mentioning weird stuff about size changes and reality changing. You see something mentioning a university near you city being the epicenter of this. As you rub your eyes and inspect further on your phone, you begin to hear the crashing and thumps outside, as well as voices and screams. You begin to relent on this not being a drug high, when.
