It was a nice Saturday so far in Tokyo, though Penn Madson wondered if it was worth having to constantly look over his younger brother, Brad. The two tourists were currently on their own, having just left their hotel room.
“So, what can we go see, big bro?!” Brad smiled up at his brother. “I don’t want to miss anything!”
“I’m sure you don’t.” smiled Penn.
They had come here to Tokyo on a family vacation, though it was really more of a celebration of their parents’ anniversary. At the current moment, their parents had decided to go out on a little romantic stroll, leaving the two boys by themselves to do whatever they should please. Normally, Penn would rather just rest at the hotel, but his parents urged them both to get out for some air.
Well, in any case, Penn managed to acquire a map he could finally read, given his less than fluent Japanese. Turns out being an anime fan didn’t exactly count as preparation. Still, he had done his research into the many attractions within Tokyo. There was the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, or even the Imperial Palace for a slice of history. That wasn’t even to mention the Asakusa and the Senso-ji Temple. There was no shortage of places to see!
Unfortunately, Penn couldn’t access most of them, considering they would probably need a car to get to and they just had their own two feet. They needed something closeby. Right now, they were near a big park, simply enjoying the sights and seeing all the children play around with their parents.
“Okay, what else is there…..” Penn mused to himself as he inspected his map for nearby attractions. As he did though, Brad was suddenly pulling at his brother’s sleeve, causing him to look over at him.
