escape the base, but into the sewers

With some skill and luck to avoid patrolling X-Nauts, the two of you were able to find the Teleporter.

Peach looked over the controls, saying, "Gosh. I can't help but feel like we're going off the rails somehow. Kind of like we're sequence-breaking."

"Maybe we are, but if we stay here, I'm pretty sure bad things will happen. If we go back, we can get help from Mario and put a stop to the X-Nauts," You replied.

"Right," Peach replied before she pressed a few buttons to activate the Teleporter and stepped under it.

Within moments, the two of you were at the teleporter in the Rogueport sewers. The door leading out was locked.

You said, "Could you please give me a hairpin and hold me up to the lock?"

Peach nodded and did so. After a moment, you unlocked the door.

"Thank you, Y/N," Peach said before she stepped out the room and looked around.

You said, "I think this is the ruins of the original town that Rogueport is built over. Be careful."

"Anything I should keep an eye out for?" Peach asked.

"X-Nauts and Koopa Troopas," You replied.

Peach frowned. "The last thing I need today is to be kidnapped by Bowser..."

Peach proved to be excellent at stealth. She could use her famous hover ability to cross pits. She could hide behind rocks and pillars to avoid patrols and dangers.

She took a moment to rest. You said, "Is there anything I can do to help you, Princess?"

Peach thought for a moment. "I guess a footrub?"

"I can do that!" You cheerfully replied.

So she placed you on the ground and took her feet out of her shoes. You looked at her feet and quickly came up with a plan. You pounded on her feet in a rhythmic pattern.

"Ohh... I needed this. I mean, I REALLY needed this! You can't understand how much I needed this! High heels are poor and really painful for long adventures," She said with a smile. "If we can't get you back to normal, do you mind being my personal massager?"

"I'd be happy to work for you, Princess," You said.

She didn't say it, but there was a part of her that wondered about using you as a toy...

Once you were done, Peach slipped back on her shoes and picked you up. She said, "Now let's figure out where to go next..."
