Naruto had to contemplate this. His situation was rather...opportunistic. He could attempt the jutsu on anyone he wanted. But he had to be careful, for this had never been used by him before and anything could go horribly wrong.
"Who should I use it on?" Naruto asked himself as he walked the streets of Konoha, "Sakura would be number one, but if the jutsu failed, I'd get pummeled into the dirt. Ino's no good cause I think her mind abilities would overcome it. What I need is an easy target. What I need is...".
It was at that very moment that whom should cross his path but team 8 walking along the path to the hokage's office.
"Hey guys", Naruto called out as he waved over to them, "Where've you been?"
Kiba smirked, "Heh, just the best mission ever! We-"
"Kiba", Shino said, looking at him gravely, "Kurenai sensei stated that we were never to reveal what happened to anyone. Naruto is no exception".
"Aw, but it was really cool, though", Kiba said, while Akamaru barked on his head, "Maybe next time, Naruto".
It was at that moment, Naruto spotted Hinata trying to hide in between her team mates. She hadn't said anything to him when he greeted them, and was blushing rather horribly when he approached.
Naruto smirked. He had found his Guinea pig.
"Hinata, I was wondering if I could talk to you for a second. Alone", Naruto asked the shy girl.
Hinata's face couldn't get any redder and she was on the verge of collapsing in pure joy. She looked at Shino, whom nodded his head, "We'll report to the Hokage, you go and be careful".
And with that, both Naruto and Hinata walked to an abandoned allyway were no visibility was there for either of them.
"N...Naruto?" Hinata asked curiously, "Wh...What is it you-" But before she could finish her sentence, Naruto performed the required hand signs and cried, "Hypnosis Jutsu!"
Hinata's eyes, already pale and translucent, became even more dull as the jutsu went into effect. Naruto, unsure if the jutsu worked, waved his hand over Hinata's face. No reaction. He lifted her arm, but it dropped to her side. Finally, Naruto asked, "Hinata...are you alright?"
"Yes, Naruto-sama", Hinata said dully.
"Okay, looks like it worked", Naruto said aloud. Recalling what the scroll had told him, Naruto then proclaimed, "Hinata, you are in a hypnosive state, and it is really comfortable".
"Yes, it is comfortable..."Hinata replied.
"Now then, every time you hear me say the phrase "I come happily and joyfully", you will enter back into this state, understood?"
"Yes, Naruto-sama".
"Alright, I think that's the basic stuff done. Now then...what should I do with her?" Naruto said, scratching his head.
