Agent Bart had apparently hit a dead-end, and requested back-up. You give a derisive snort, surely he was capable of completing the mission alone.
However, you felt that getting close to Darson Gote, such a powerful individual was for all intents and purposes above the law. More importantly he was in danger, and you'd expect him to be very, very grateful to any individual who helped him escape those dangers.
The name Gote was associated with all kinds of weird myths and legends, that the more lurid corners of the matrix were happy to repeat. Tales of genetic selection were not rare. Nor the family's drive for a purity in their offspring. It was said that Garton could make a woman's heart melt with a bat of his eyelids, or a flick of his wavy hair. Some women said he had an ass to die for, and a cock that could complete a woman.
The boss smirks as he directs you to a transformation tube.
"Bart wants you to go in as his partner. Apparently Garton's a bit of a traditionalist."
You don't object to being a woman, it's a role you've taken before. A snarl forming on your face at the memory of taking down the Park Rapist. Another time when you were a drug mule from a pleasure planet.
There's a growing suspicion building on the Captain's face. Does he mean subservient? When he said traditional?
You don't fancy playing the trophy wife, you want an active role in an investigation. Not to be stuck on the sideline, eye-candy to simper at her husband's jokes, and praise his boss.
You step into the tube, and the door slips shut instantly behind you. The seal rebonds, and the tube is completely secure and sound-proof.
Mouthing the words, "Mental Changes?" to the Captain, his smile widens, and he gives a slow deliberate nod 'yes'.
It is far too late for second thoughts, and with a huff a cloud of white vapour surrounds you, blocking your view of the outside world. The nanites crawl over your skin, and dive deep into your lungs, your nose... every orifice. You itch from head to toe as they reprogram you making you over into Bart's vision of a traditional wife.... Huh .... The captain didn't say you'd be Bart's wife. Assumptions don't serve you well in this job, you remind yourself, although hunches could be handy.
There's a chill blast, and the nanites are flushed out of the tube.
The reason for the Captain's smile is obvious. Silently the edge, and door reform, and open. The captain chivalrously and mockingly offers you his hand.
Despite your contempt your body does need a little assistance in keeping your balance. Your thoughts feel a little sluggish, as you jiggle along, holding his forearm. He helps you into a nearby chair. One thing you notice is how much taller the Captain is now... or rather how much more petite you are ... at least vertically.

You are glad this is a more discreet part of the station, but you find yourself more emotional than usual. Running one hand over one swelling tit you give a shudder of pleasure and thank God for making you a woman...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
