Emergence
Their arch enemy, Lugia, had not left them. After what seemed like months of feasting he rears his ugly head, using his powers to seperate Valerie from Floaty and using her powers to make his escape. Luxray helps out by siphoning some of the mist himself, allowing Valerie to be saved with loss of most of her girth. As Lugia attempts to reform Floatzel eats as fast as he could in the hopes of outsizing him completely, but he manages to reform and takes control of Luxray's mind, causing Valerie to disappear into him. Floaty lets himself be devoured and follows after her.
End of All Things
Floaty and Valerie discover Lugia's plan with the help of surviving Legendary Pokemon inside Luxray's belly. Lugia intended to overload Luxray by forcing him to devour universe upon universe and upon his explosion, funnel all of existence into himself and somehow infinitesmally multiply the mass he would gain, and effectively destroy everyone.
Arceus intervenes, questioning the rest of them, before Floaty poses a burning question: to as whether Arceus himself has planned for additional backup universes. After getting over Floaty's audacity and listening to his request to restore everything to the way it was before, so that Valerie and he can return to start a family, Arceus restarts the universe, and things were seemingly back to normal.
The two lovers bid their goodbye to Luxray.
Back home and living the life
Thanks to his generosity Floaty and Valerie started off slightly larger than a Wailord each along with their memories, with the condition that they did their best to prevent a repeat of the incidents. The two of them soon settled onto a remote island and started a family.
An unexpected cruise career
Floaty's love for eating and growing fatter did not diminish one bit however. After their children were born he took to the seas and simply bobbed around on his huge blubbery body. Cruise ships would come and go as he watched, and he would follow a particular one, devouring garbage as they dumped it every so often.
This soon continued until they noticed the river otter that floated behind them, growing ever bigger from junk they threw away. Over the course of a month he outsized the massive cruise ship himself and owing to customer complaints of scenary being blocked by Floaty, the company had to do something - build a ship out of Floaty himself.
They offered him the cruise ship he followed, to savour all by himself. The river otter fervently chomped at it day and night, with people watching the extraordinary spectacle of the great S.S. Behemoth being decommissioned by the grossly obese Floatzel. After a few days he finished the house-sized rudder of the ship, releasing a long, huge belch from himself as he triumphantly rowed out to the ports.
The cruise company would then construct a full cruise suite adapted for a fat Pokemon such as Floaty, and put him on a lifetime job being a cruise ship, bottomless gourmand for both banquets and refuse alike. The cruise suite, of course, was being constantly refitted as he grew bigger and bigger...
Trouble Returns
Valerie takes their children along and began to follow Floaty around for his escapades. One night though, she questions Floaty on his future with the cruise company, and realises he might be a little too attached to it. The Vaporeon then threatens him, telling him that he should retire and return back home. Floaty manages to reach a compromise with his lover.
Floaty sails back to Snowpoint for repair after the damage Valerie caused. He receives a mental message from Lugia who tells him he should not head out, for the whirlpool that caused the previous events, would manifest tonight. Floaty himself could not find evidence to believe Lugia through the weather channels. The river otter was planning to stay at port until it blowed over, but after seeing the news report that a new cruise ship, based on a Miltank, was heading out, he acted immediately, evacuating everyone on board and heading for Slateport, hoping he would not be too late.
