The next day was Saturday, and as such, both Kyle and his brothers all slept in until well after nine o' clock (after all, they had stayed out rather late at the fair). Kyle was the first one to wake up, excited to see if the change in height was noticeable after a few hours.
He didn't even have to go check height mark he had made on the wall the previous night to know something was different; his pajamas all felt tighter, especially around his crotch, where a full morning wood seemed significantly more pronounced than before. As he did go check the wall, though, he was delighted to see that the mark he had made was now closer to his neck than to the top of his head. He had grown over five inches since going to bed, and was now definitely taller than Craig and Clay. "I might even start having to borrow Daniel's clothes for a while," he thought to himself with a grin. "At least, while I still fit in them!"
Deciding to change into some looser fitting clothes, he paused to look in the full-length mirror in his bedroom as he peeled off his shirt and pants. The growth spurt didn't seem to have any affect on his muscles, at least for now. The bulge in his underwear definitely seemed more pronounced, though Kyle couldn't quite tell if that was just an effect of his overall growth or something else.
"Holy crap!" Kyle turned around and smiled as he saw Craig putting on his glasses, gawking at him. HIs exclamation woke up Clay as well, and the two boys jumped out of bed and walked over to him, both staring up at their suddenly-taller brother. "What happened to you, Kyle?"
Kyle beamed in return. "Oh, this is just the beginning, believe me. You better prepare yourself for some big changes around here."
Neither brother knew what to make of that, and simply shook their heads and went off down the stairs to the kitchen. Kyle folded his arms across his still-bare chest, still amazed by what he saw-- just as he felt the sense of vertigo again, and his clothes became ever-so-tighter.
