Without an ounce of effort, Sasuke formed the requisite handseals. A puff of smoke later, and five perfect copies were standing behind him.
"Congratulations!" said the assistant instructor Mizuki (last-name-not-important-enough-to-learn), "You are now a genin, Sasuke."
The last loyal Uchiha resisted the urge to scoff. Of course he was a genin. The idea that he might have failed this pitiful excuse for a graduation test was simply preposterous. Even a complete dead-last like Naruto shouldn't have any trouble with something as basic and fundamental as the clone jutsu.
"Here, Sasuke," said the main instructor, Iruka Umino, who was a marginally more notable individual than Mizuki. At the very least, he was fair, and not a complete sycophant like most of the other faculty and students. The career chuunin, entirely unremarkable aside from his dedication as an instructor, and his ability to rein in even the worst troublemakers in their class, grabbed a standard issue forehead protector from a pile of identical items and handed it to the most recent graduate.
"You've earned it," was what the man told Sasuke, before dismissing him to call in the next examinee.
The young prodigy once more resisted the urge to scoff, simply turning on his heels after accepting the headband. Holding the proof of his graduation in his hand, Sasuke's mind turned for the first time in a while to his plans. His goals.
He wasn't even really paying attention to his surroundings as he walked out of the Academy, heading through the crowd of other students who had already taken the exam. Nobody seemed to have failed, of course, which was only to be expected with such a simple test. But he didn't pay them any heed, anyways.
Not the boys, at least.
No, he was thinking of things he had not considered since returning to the Academy after the Massacre. He was considering matters of blood, and joining, and repopulating the Uchiha. Sasuke had made considerable strides in gaining control of his powers -- Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, that tablet in that room under that mat in that shrine, had said it was called -- and now he was officially a shinobi of Konoha.
A whole world of training possibilities was now open to him, options which were simply not available to civilians or Academy students. But, more importantly, he was now legally an adult.
He could now begin properly repopulating his clan. With the powers of his sharingan, and his considerable fan following, it would be no problem for Sasuke to find willing females, and with a bit of mental conditioning from Tsukuyomi, he was certain that he could shape just about any girl he wished into a suitable mother of Uchiha children.
Yes, he was already decided on the matter. He would begin sowing his oats, the oats of the Uchiha. He would spread his seed far and wide, spawn Uchiha wherever he could find viable women. He would father a nation. The Uchiha would be a clan once more, a clan and more.
The Uchiha would be everywhere. He would make sure of it.
But where would he start?
