Smiling with satisfaction to herself at having told off Dufont, Rena resumed eating. Never before had she eaten so much delicious food in one meal! By the time she was finished, she had eaten at least three pounds worth of fish, prime rib, steak, ice tea, shrimp, and several other dishes. Rena leaned back in her chair, picking her teeth with one of her claws as she let out a small burp.
She gently patted her now full, slightly distended stomach and smiled. Today had been quite interesting to say the least, not many people could say they became a millionaire overnight. Speaking of which, Rena began to think of what she would do next with her money.
Countless possibilities came rushing through her head all at once. She could get herself a nice new house, a car, maybe even her own private island. She giggled at the thought. Then her mind turned to the extravagant meal she just ate. She had always been on the thin side, and usually ate lite. She never really knew how good it felt to eat until you were actually full and satisfied. It was a wonderful feeling to her, and she wanted to feel it more often.
It was then that Rena decided that from now on, she would eat whatever she wanted, and as much as she wanted. And if she put on weight, so be it. She was tired on having a stick figure body anyway.
Rena looked at her watch, and saw it was nearly ten thirty. All that food had made Rena sleepy, and she decided she might as well go to bed. She paid for her food, and checked herself into the hotel section of The Mirage. She usually slept on the sofa in her former boss's trailer, but seeing as she just quit her job, that wasn't really an option.
Not that it bothered her, because she had ordered the best suite in the hotel, and was pleased to finally sleep in a real bed again .
Collapsing onto a bed as soft as a cloud, Rena fell asleep in minutes. She awoke the next morning, and was surprised to see that her formerly flat belly had developed a bit of pudge to it. She supposed this was to be expected, after all that food she ate last night. Speaking of which, she felt like ordering room service for breakfast.
She picked up the hotel phone and ordered the biggest omelet they had, along with bacon, toast and a whole gallon of milk. As Rena ate, she thought of how she would spend the rest of her day. She decided since she now had millions of dollars to her name, she might as well put it to good use. She was going to need new clothes if she was going to eat as much as she wanted from now on, to accommodate the inevitable changes to her body.
After breakfast, Rena took a taxi to the nearest mall. As the taxi pulled up in front of the mall, she tipped the driver for the trip. As she approached the building, she decided to,
