Somehow, I'd flicked the TV over to some cable channel, just in time to watch the opening of an old episode of Baywatch. Reaching into a packet of Doritos, I watched the actresses jiggling their way across the screen, and settled down to enjoy the show, the start of a six-hour marathon. It was a perfect accompaniment to an endless stream of snacks, not requiring any thought or attention, just something to watch while I grazed my way through the day. Periodically, Mom walked into the room, berating me for lounging around and wasting my life, and I looked down at the ring, a greedy thought in my eye. Suddenly, thirty million dollars flooded into my bank account, and I looked up at her again, smiling in satisfaction as she transformed into one of the plastic bimbos from the show, breasts bulging out of her top, hair growing platinum blonde.
No change to the attitude, though. If anything, it was worse. As she headed away to an appointment with her personal trainer, something about sweating off the last five pounds of barely-existent fat, I looked down at by growing belly, bulging out of my pants. I looked back up at the screen, watching the lifeguards jiggling along a beach, and a thought suddenly crossed my mind. Why was I sitting here on my own, when I had millions of bucks in the bank and the ability to conjure up anyone I wanted? For that matter, why was I still walking to the kitchen? A quick wish brought a small fridge, loaded with snacks, next to the couch.
Who, then? Pam herself, in all her busty glory, didn't quite appeal. There was something about two of her co-stars, a girl-next-door approach that felt better. Nicole Eggert and Elena Eleniak. Neither as well-endowed, but that didn't have to be a problem. The wish started to form itself up, one of them moving next-door, falling for the reclusive millionaire. I looked at the empty spot on the couch, and smiled. The only question was which one.
Or, what about both? That was more like it. Rubbing the ring, I made the wish….   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
