It had been years since you and your mom had been able to afford to go on vacations, ever since your dad left the picture. Your mom tried her best to support the two of you, she worked long and hard hours at her two job, leaving herself only a small amount of time after work to spend time with you, then off to bed. Today was the first day in months that she had a day off and it ended up being completely used up cleaning the house.
She really did deserve a break, from work, from cleaning, from it all.
