You decide to try swapping with Pikachu, the little electric mouse Pokemon. It would make for a more interesting test run of the remote, and like a lot of the other competitors in the tournament, you thought Pikachu was pretty cute. But what to use on him? Pretty much every button would provide an interesting result. You decided to leave it up to chance. You aimed the remote at Pikachu, made sure the awareness setting was on "1", and pressed a random blue button.
