From the bathroom you can hear The Distillers playing from an echoey room, masked by the sound of running water and your goth friend singing along. She was taking a shower. You can't really blame her, she was more than likely a bit sweaty from all the craziness that had taken place just a few hours before. You sit on her bed, the anticipation killing you. That's when you see it sitting on her pillow: The shrinking remote. You slowly reach out for it, and hold it in your hands, amazed at the power you've got with you right now. And of course, all you can think of doing is using that power for your own perverted needs. Hey, world peace and all that crap can wait. You have a date with a pretty girl's feet! You think to yourself all the fun you can have with the power to change your size around Mary's pretty toes. You could shrink yourself down to a few inches tall and run around inside her socks. You could point the device at her shoes and make the whole room smell like her foot sweat...Hell, you could shrink yourself all the way down to microscopic size and climb onto her big toe while she sleeps. There's so many ways for you to live out your fantasies, all you have to do is pick one. You can still hear Mary washing up, and that's when you get the good idea. You strip off all your clothes, leaving them in a pile underneath Mary's bed, and head towards the bathroom. You're going to walk to the middle of the bathroom floor, shrink yourself down to just a few inches tall, and wait for Mary to see you. She's going to be so excited to see you so small again, she'll have no choice but to let you play under her feet some more. Maybe she'll even keep you like that for a while. You've got a few days off coming up, you could shrink down to the size of her playthings, live in one of her dollhouses that she keeps in the back room. You'd be her toy for as long as she wanted. The plan is bulletproof.
You slowly make your way into the bathroom, excited about what she's going to think when she sees you, the size of one of her dolls, on her bathroom floor! You just hope she's still in the mood to play a little bit. She turns off the stereo in her shower and starts to wring out her hair and you think "Alright... this is my shot! This is gonna be great!" You point the device at yourself and close your eyes, pulling the trigger to shrink yourself. The beam hits you hard and you feel yourself sink towards the ground. The tiles underneath your feet get bigger and further apart, and the world expands around you. When the device becomes almost too big for you to hold, you run it over to the side of the bathroom (so she doesn't step on it!), and set it down. As you start to walk away towards the center of the bathroom floor, you get a sudden chill of realization and run back to the device. You forgot to check the settings before you blasted yourself! You hope that she had toyed around with the device a bit before setting it down, making sure that you would shrink down to the doll sized you wanted, not the size of a flea! She'd never be able to see you, and would probably crush you under the toes you were longing to be with! You see the device's screen get bigger and bigger, and finally see what the device was set for...
