Zelda opened her spell book to find an interesting spell she had somehow never seen before, the spell of... Well, she wasn't sure what spell it was, as the words became blurry in the title. Feeling adventurous, the princess decided to cast the spell anyway, unsure of its effects. After the spell was cast, a brief show of sparkling lights emitted from the princess' hands, but after that, nothing happened.
"Hmm... How disappointing." Zelda thought.
After casting her less than spectacular new spell, Zelda practiced her magic some more, and then went about her day as usual. She next had a break from all her royal duties in the afternoon, when she decided to eat some lunch with Impa in the chapel inside the castle. Zelda talked with Impa about various things, reminiscing about the hero of time, Link, and how he had helped save the kingdom. She even told her about the mysterious new spell she had tried.
"Princess, you shouldn't use magic if you don't know what it will do." Impa told the princess.
"Yes, I know, Impa." Zelda laughed. "But it's strange, I've had that book for a long time, but I'd never seen that spell until today."
"It is quite odd." Impa replied, weary of bad magic, but intrigued nonetheless. "And you say it did nothing at all?"
"Yes! That's the biggest mystery of it all!" Zelda said.
The two discussed the spell and magic in general some more, when Zelda felt her dress starting to get a little tight. Zelda stood up and adjusted her clothes, saying that she might need a new wardrobe soon. But when Zelda kept readjusting her clothes, Impa took notice, she stood up as well and was about to ask the princess if something was the matter, when she saw that Zelda was somehow taller than she was, almost a whole 2 feet taller in fact!
"Princess!" Impa shouted in surprise. "You're so tall! But how..? And are my eyes deceiving me, are or you getting even bigger?"
"W-What are you saying!?" Zelda cried as she grew. "I'm getting... Bigger?"
Zelda saw that it was true when she tried to leave the room to figure out what was wrong with her, but she found that she couldn't even fit through the door anymore! The princess could not ignore her ever increasing height anymore, it had only been a few seconds and she was nearly half the size of the room already, and still growing!
Zelda's clothes were long gone, having reached their stretching point a moment ago, leaving the growing princess completely nude. She was embarrassed at this, and tried to cover herself with what little scraps of clothing she could find, but she quickly outgrew even that and resorted to covering herself with her hands.
Zelda looked down and blushed when she saw Impa, who had just seen the embarrassing scene. But Impa wasn't too interested in that, she was just standing in awe at the princess' huge height, she was so surprised by what she was seeing that even she was unsure of what to do now. Impa was beginning to look like a tiny little doll to the growing princess. Higher and higher Zelda grew until she reached the very high up ceiling, conking her head on it.
"Oww!" Zelda yelped as she rubbed her head. "T-This is terrible, if this keeps up I'll destroy the whole castle!"
"Princess, I'll go get help! Uh,Try not to get any bigger in the meantime!" Impa shouted up to the room-size princess, and ran through the door of the chapel to find somebody.
"Impa, please hurry!" Zelda cried, still growing larger.
With her protector gone, Zelda then crouched down and got into a kneeling position on the floor. In this position, she could still fit into the room, but for how much longer, she wondered. Zelda was still growing, soon she'd fill the whole chapel! She just wanted it to end...
