Not Alone in the Room

It was a little girl's room. No question about it. Pink wallpaper, Girl toys piled neatly in a toy box, a small table and chairs with stuffed animals and a tea set. He heard something from above.He suddenly realized he'd been standing next to a rather large bed. His heart skipped a beat as the other occupant of the room sat up and pulled the covers off herself.

Dressed in aPJs, four year old Beth yawned and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. She was only three feet tall but to Scott she might as well be three Hundred. Sure Science had long ago said that nothing built like a human being could get that big, but those who decided that weren't here looking at the not so little girl who was swinging her cute feet over the edge of the bed fast before Scott had anytime to react.
