Eventually, though, the shaking and moving of the giant footfalls became too much as he got closer and closer. One particularly hard, close footfall caused Scott to tumble to the ground, and as the giant kept moving around - god knows what he was doing, maybe putting something away - it became impossible for him to get up. Scott was thrown this way and that, stumbling to his feet only to be tipped over and lose his balance again. Despite his best efforts, he rolled out from under the bed just as the giant closed one of his draws and turned around. The footfalls, for a moment, stopped.
"What is that?" boomed the giant, the voice terrifyingly loud and all-encompassing.
Scott's heart dropped out of his chest as he jumped to his feet, trying to run back under the bed, back to his car. But those damn feet again changed everything, causing chaos. Scott fell again almost instantly as the giant approached and before he knew it all light was gone. He turned around to see a hand, an absolutely gargantuan hand, filling his vision. Two fingers pinched Scott's body delicately, lifting him from the ground. Scott tried not to pass out from the fear and the sudden change in altitude as he was lifted higher and higher and higher, all the way to the face of this hoodie-wearing god.
Eventually, they were face to face. "Now what do we have here...?" said the giant. "You almost look like...whoa..." the brown eyes squinted as the face got closer and closer, the breath like a vaguely minty hurricane. "Are you a person?"
Barely able to breathe, such was your terror, you nodded vigorously. You wondered if he could even see. "Whoa!" came the answer to that. "This is great!"
