Scott's first and only instinct had to be to try and get back home somehow. Because of that, making contact with this giant seemed a silly move for now. He was pretty handsome, he thought, as was the woman in the pictures. They seemed a happy couple.
The giant stopped moving and the earthquakes caused by his footsteps mercifully stopped. Deciding the car would at least give you some shelter, Scott sprinted back to it and dived in, buckling up for good measure and waiting. He could see the huge sneakers through his front windscreen; the feet shifted slightly. Scott didn't know what was going on but he knew that every movement that monster made was dangerous to him. He contemplated driving deeper into the nightstand but he didn't know if the giant would hear the sound of the engine. So he just waited. Surely if this giant was going to stick around, he'd take off the sneakers? Maybe he was just folding some clothes or something.
