Making the drugs is easy. They literally grow on trees (as God intended) and you, Felix Gacha, employ literal armies of workers to pick and process the valuable leaves into the final product.

Laundering the money was simply enough too - entire Latin American nations exist (you've financed their creation yourself) to clean up your profit and deliver it back to you by the truckload. The literal truckload. Every day, more pallets of cash are unloaded at your compound to the point where there is no longer any space to store it. You've had to resort to burying millions of $$$ out in the jungle like a goddamn pirate! Every year, you lose 10% to rats.

No, the hard part is getting your product over the borders into the really lucrative markets, the USA and Europe. It is a game, a tug-of-war between you and your "men", and the DEA, Europol, the TFPD, as both sides try to outwit one another. It's a game that you're very much winning.

Sure, every now and then they bust a billion dollar shipment or catch a few of your drug mules, but the billions in cash are almost as expendable as the mules. For every billion they find, a dozen more slip through the fingers.

Typically, you've always been in the cocaine trade but times are changing. With the advent of transgenic plants, it's now possible to tailor the crops to produce any almost compound, and while cocaine remains the big money maker, you know you're going to have to diversify or die, literally. Designer rugs, synthetic hormones, bespoke psychotropics, they're all emerging markets that you're keen to get into - to which end you've kidnapped the bioresearch faculties of several universities to work for you.
