Chapter #5
The Mutiny Begins

"Aye," you say nervously. "So what am I supposed to do?" Natasha let out a loud and hearty laugh before lowering you down on the ground. "Good choice, lass," says the literal pirate spider. "I need ye to stowaway on the next landlubber that comes on by and plunder their keys. But first, we need to create as much hell as possible in the process. Like Bartholomew Roberts' raid on Impel Down, we will unlock the cells of the most dastardly rapscallions and while the guards are distracted, those that manage to get away shall join us as we escape and set out to sea!" As Natasha was laughing, you groan. She's confusing real pirates with fictional pirates.
Then you gasp. "Wait," you say. "You want me to steal the keys from one of the guards? What if it doesn't work?" Natasha let out a hiss as all of her eyes closed and opened. “Then we have our contingency plan. You will lure the guard to my quarters where me webbing will make short work of her. We’ll shanghai the lass and force the bilge rats that locked us up to provide us with a seaworthy ship that will allow us to make our great escape! Now off with ye!” Without warning, Natasha wraps some webbing around you and tosses you out through the bars on the door to her room.
You let out a yell and then you grunt as you land on the next of the K.D.P. staff who comes by. You see long strands of cyan hair all around you and you realized that you landed on Tori, the salamander. Tori was a pitch black-skinned monster resembling a cross between an actual salamander and a dragon. She had four arms that doubled as two extra pairs of legs and was wearing a cyan bikini as she moved through the hallway on all sixes and then stood up, forcing you to grab her hair. Of course, maintaining your footing is easily said than done on this amphibious giantess’s slimy back. Tori sniffed the air before she blew smoke out of her nostrils and coughed. From the look on her face, she was really tired. “Why did I stay up watching White Butler all night? I’m supposed to be awake and alert in case Grandma isn’t. I overheard Whitney talking to Dr. West about forcing her to retire. Without even asking her first? That’s just mean. What are they thinking.”
Tori’s grandmother Cressida was a large and elderly dragon who was also an orderly. However, Cressida was weak in her old age. She couldn’t fly anymore, she needed a cane to walk, her eyesight was failing her and she couldn’t even breathe fire anymore without hurting her own throat. She was getting too old and weak to do her job properly but she wasn’t willing to retire. Tori became an orderly to protect Cressida’s job and that made her the clear threat among the grandmother-granddaughter duo and she proved it by looking around. You look down yourself and you see Cressida carrying a keyring at the side of her bikini. You inch down from her hair as the salamander doesn’t seem to notice you.
You yourself have your doubts on whether or not Natasha’s plan will even work. But you couldn’t walk away now. After all, pirates don’t like being betrayed. You inch down and find yourself standing on Tori’s keyring. You climb onto the ring and tug on the side in an attempt to pull it out of Tori’s belt. But in the process, you manage to tear the side of the belt and then you gasp. “Oh no,” you say. “Oh no. Please don’t break. Ah!”
You scream as the keychain starts to fall, broken off of Tori’s belt. You hold the chain tight as you fall from hundreds of feet in the air and scream. You could swear your heart is beating right up your throat. It looks like it’s all over, but then there’s a clinkering sound. You look and see that you’ve landed harmlessly. Holding onto the keychain saved you from the impact of the fall. You let out a sigh of relief. But then you realize that Tori might’ve heard you and gasp.
