After sniping, hacking, and just blasting the guards in the face, Widow, Reaper, and Sombra seized the relic from the base. It turned out to be a small, golden ring which would easily fit either of the two female agents. Once back on board the airship, Gabe instructed Widow to see if the ring worked. “Let me try. Adding a few inches wouldn’t help her, she just stands still. I could use the extra inches to help me run faster while I’m cloaked,” said Sombra. Widow interrupted with her French accent, “Excuse me, but I do not think he told you to test it. Go sit down while I try it on.”
Sombra walked back to her seat in the back, with an expression of jealousy in her eyes. The sniper placed the ring on her right ring finger and nothing happened. “What am I supposed to do?” she asked Gabe. “I think you have to specify a size to be, and then it changes you,” he replied. Suddenly, Widow’s head raised up 3 inches, along with the rest of her. In her heels, she was at a height of 6’3, now letting her definitively look down on Sombra (they had been of about equal height before) and she could now look slightly down at Gabe. “Mon Dieu,” the taller woman uttered. She increased her height again, this time by 6 inches. She removed her heels, which has become tight, and sill stood in incredible 6’6.
“Well, it works. Take it off and we’ll head back to base and figure out what we can use it for,” said Gabe.
