Darkness. That's all you can see. You can feel your eyes are open, but there's nothing else around you. Just the shadows.
You know you're awake. You can feel the ground underneath you, hard. But you don't know where you are. You don't, for that matter, even know WHO you are. Your memories are gone, and with them your identity. You don't even know if you're male or female, though since you seem to be lacking clothes it wouldn't take you long to find out if you could be bothered.
And it should bother you... but it doesn't.
All that does is the endless, ravenous hunger.
As you sit there, waiting, the door finally opens. Two men - with snake-like faces and vicious expressions - enter the room, holding spears. A moment later, another man - huge, with midnight coloured flesh, two massive horns and red lines weaving around his entire body - enters behind them, smiling coldly at you.
"Ah, you've awakened. I was beginning to wonder if you ever would."
"Who are you?" you ask, your voice too slurred to tell you your own gender. The huge figure's smile widens.
"My name is Orochi, the serpent king. But that would mean nothing to you, would it? Not without your memories."
"But you know who I am?"
"Oh, yes. And if you listen to me, in time, you will have answers. But first... first, you must eat. You must have sensed by now the hunger. It is a part of you that will not fade, no matter how hard you try to ignore it. And I can cure it, at least briefly. By bringing you just what you need." His smile widens then. "Food."
On cue, two more of the snake-men enter, these two dragging another person between them. She is beautiful, young, with shoulder length brown hair, a red ribbon in her hair, and chocolate brown eyes.
But she is also bound, gagged and naked, struggling desperately to get free.
"Meet Himiko," Orochi smiles "she has been of use to me up until now. But I no longer have need of her. So she will provide you with the sustenance you require. Let your instincts take over - and take her for your own."
You know right away that he is correct on at least one thing - the hunger will not fade. And despite some part of you knowing that the girl before you is a human being, not a piece of meat, her struggles, her flesh - they turn you on. And make you more hungry than ever.
"Go on," Orochi encourages you "eat her. You'll feel much, much better once you do."
Himiko looks up at you, panic in her eyes.
