Chapter #2

A group of orphans

The door opened to Dr. Evan's office and a group of young boys walked in, being shown around by their guardian as he was in charge of introducing them to some of the features of this town.

"And this is the doctor's office where if you're sick at all, you can come here and the doctor, I believe his name is Dr. Evans, will get you treated and taken care of." Mr. Lancaster states.

The boys marvel at everything that they see here as Dr. Evans only uses state of the art technology and equipment.

As Dr. Evans was deciding which of the boys to make into his new nurse, he got a phone call over his personal cell phone. "Hello?" he asks.

"I heard that you can alter reality and change people to fit your needs." the person on the other end asks.

This quickly makes Dr. Evans a bit frightened that someone knows his secret. "What's it to you?" he asks.

"You see, tonight, down at Rockefeller Center, we're having the lighting of the Christmas Tree and we're short a singer. We were wondering if you could help out with that." the person responds. "We're willing to pay you quite a hefty sum for this."

Dr. Evans thinks about it as he peeks his head out of his office door and sees the boys from the orphanage in his office. "Consider it done, we can discuss the amount of money once the transformation is complete." he says before they hang up.

"Hello boys, I'm Dr. Evans, what brings you all here today?" he asks as he looks out among the boys.
