This choice: A lab experiment goes terribly wrong, but Andy gets a terrific side-effect! • Go Back...Chapter #4Chemistry goes wrong, but Andy feels great! by: wisdomwish Andy, our nerdy and skinny hero (though that part has yet to come), is attending chemistry classes at college. He was really good at it, because he was smart.
However, something had been bothering him that day. A huge jock bully punched him on the left arm, for no apparent reason, and it obviously hurt. Damn, he wished to be strong like that, but to protect people and hopefully meet a girl.
Andy arrived really early. That day, they had a huge container in the lab. It was filled with a green fluid. The liquid was so thick that you wouldn't know if there was something inside the container besides the green goo. Andy was intrigued by that container, and got closer to it. It seemed like his teacher was about to test something, before classes. Professor Eddie Vil was brilliant, and kind of creepy. He was short, skinny, and bald, and he looked weak and old because of his body composition. However, he was nowhere to be seen.
Andy was really curious about the content of that container, so he got a chair and he stood on it to have a better view of the inside. He was peeking above the edge of the recipient. He got careless, and he fell inside the green stuff. In that exact moment, Professor switched on a machine that sent an electrical pulse through the container. Andy couldn't get up because the shock paralyzed him. He couldn't breath and he was swallowing the weird liquid, which tasted like metal.
Andy finally managed to get up and out from the container, and he knew he had to run away before Professor saw him. He didn't know Professor saw him escape.
"Andy? Oh, no... My formula isn't ready." said Eddie. Andy got to his room, which was nearby, without being noticed. He wasn't noticed anyways. Andy had to change his wet clothes, and take a shower. By the way, he didn't even know what kind of chemical he was exposed to, but he was feeling odd... Something was not OK... He was feeling better than ever!
"It must have been a medicinal mixture! I feel terrific!" said Andy, while stripping clothes. He had a full length mirror in his bedroom, though he didn't like it. He could swear his reflection was becoming blurry in the mirror, though his vision wasn't bad.
Then, something happened... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
