perhaps we could go for television channels (like Cartoon Network, Nick, Disney, the Hub, etc.), and do like a single thread where any character from that channel's shows could come together without the need for crossovers. for example, with Nick, Jimmy Neutron, Fairly OddParents, and Danny Phantom could all be in the same world and meet without the need for crossing universes.
