Alex arrives in the living room and sits at his place on the table while having breakfast.

He switches on the TV, a news channel started, those kind of channel bored Alex more than anything, but a news displayed grabbed his attention. It was speaking of the skyrocketing number of slaves contracts this year that has been accepted by the government, and how it seemed to have stabilized the economy. About a year ago a female pro-slavery president was elected and promised to drastically change the slavery process. It seemed like her words were true...

As Alex kept the news going while he ate his meal and wondered where his family was, maybe for once Jade won't be here to torment him as usual.
