Just when he was ready to leave , Linda and Jade came in .
"Hi Alex " his step mother told him. Looking kind of sad , like she had a really bad news to announce him.
"are you alright Linda? " he asked , thinking she was going to announce him the police found his father's corpse . She however didn't and said something way more puzzling for him .
"Alex , as you know , now your dad isn't around anymore I can't keep you so you have to leave the house ..."
This luxurious two-storey house was where he had lived since he was born and as his father disappeared since many times now he was declared dead and had funerals. Surprisingly it was Linda who inherited the house and Alex , Jade and her shared his father's money .
"Are you kiding me ? You inherited my father's house , the two of you got two third of his money and you dare to throw me out just like that ?! "
Jade pushed the teen to stop him from yelling , he had almost forgotten she was here and her strength almost made him collapse on the ground .
" Hey ! Calm down ! We don't have the right to keep you around unless you are part of the family ! And the next time you dare yell on mom I'll be sure you w..."
"Jade it's ok ..." Linda said , then looking back at Alex ," listen sweety I'm sorry but as much as I want I can't keep you it's illegal and I can't pay for both of your studies , I have to pay for the taxes first . Then you know I've also to pay assurance and all. "
It was all bullshit , she had just inherited of 200 000 dollars from his father , she just didn't want to take care of him now nothing obliged her to he thought "...I don't want to leave ... I want to stay in this house , I don't care if I can't do studies !"
Jade , bored by her crybaby step brother ...
"C'mon don't you understand it's illegal to keep you ?! If you one day change your mind and denounce us we may end up in jail. "
" I...I would never do that !!" argued desperately Alex , "there must be a loophole ! "
Jade smiled then answered ," Indeed, there is one way out I can think of ..."
"Tell me !" Alex eagerly asked , ready to do anything to stay .
She looked at Linda who had understood what she meant ,
" Well you can still agree to be my or Mom's slave..."
Alex looked puzzled for a moment. Renouncing for his human rights in order to stay was a bit too much and he was aware of it. However as long as it was to be the slave of one of his relative it couldn't be that bad right ? They could still free him when he will be adult ...
