This is a long and uneventful walk, but as luna looked down, she could see her future would be for red. This child, who was so poorly treated, will need all her love and support. She took the time to read his papers, learn his hopes, and just keep him close to herself.
By the time they arrived, the sun had gone down. As luna entered, she set red down and curled up around him: her new and only hope, her world.
By the next morning, luna had woke up while red slept. She got up and checked out of her lovely home.
A fearsome-looking animal approached her in the time outside. ”Luna word on the street says you have a human. You know we don't like them around these parts. Best hide it, returns it, or transform it. Otherwise, you know what I have to do.” with that, it trotted off, and luna took the words to heart and fast.
