It's been a long while since Twilight has become a Princess and an Alicorn. Things have gone pretty well with her and getting a hang of the her new power. To top it up, she has been getting tons of respect and princess perks. One day, Twilight and Spike were in Canterlot doing some small appearances and went to Donut Joe's.
"Hello Joe!" Twilight said.
"Ah! Princess Twilight!" Joe said bowing to her.
"No need for all the formalites, Joe." Twilight said.
"But you are a princess now." Joe said.
"She's still the same old Twilight." Spike said.
"Yeah." Twilight said.
"So, what can I get you?" Joe asked.
"Just a few donuts to go." Twilight said.
Joe went out to the back and got two boxes with a dozen donuts each.
"Ummm....that's more then I expected." Twilight asked.
"Just something special for you. On the house." Joe said.
"Sweet!" Spike said grabbing a few and eating some.
"Are you sure?" Twilight asked.
"It's no problem. Now go on." Joe said smiling.
"Okay then." Twilight said.
Twilight and Spike left Joe's and was on their way. Joe was not the only one giving Twilight free treats. Many of the other bakeries wanted to offer food to the new princess. When Twilight got back home to Ponyville, she had a ton of food boxes in front of her.
"Jeez! So much offerings." Twilight said.
"Being a princess has it's perk. Wouldn't you said." Spike said.
"But so much food. It's crazy." Twilight said.
"Crazy, but tasty." Spike said eating a cookie.
Twilight took a pastry and ate it. It was quite delectable.
"Wow! That's really good." Twilight said.
"Yeah! So if other ponies are gonna offer you food, just take it. You are a princess now."
"I guess you're right Spike."
With that said, Twilight decided to have another pastry. Then a few more. Not worry about how things will work for her. The few days later.......
