As much as Sara enjoyed the beach, she had to admit that indoor pools had their charms. No seagulls to bother you, no sand to wash off, no chance of a storm closing the place down. Sure, the smell of chlorine was a bit strong in the enclosed space, but the water itself was always a perfect temperature, no matter what the season. Sara would have enjoyed being at this indoor pool a lot more if not for two things:
Reason One was that she was on duty. As refreshing as the water was, as nice as it would have felt to jump in, she couldn't. As a lifeguard, she was to stay cooped up in her chair, keeping a watchful eye over the other people, people who were getting to enjoy themselves. Sure, when she was off-duty she got to swim as much as she liked, but that was little consolation at the time.
Reason Two was her attire. She'd taken the lifeguard job as a way to make a living while wearing less than at her previous jobs, but it didn't matter much if she was stuck sitting in her chair most of the time. The standard-issue swimsuit, a red one-piece, was also a little too conservative for Sara's tastes. Mind you, any swim suit would have covered more than she would have liked, but the one-piece was made to be practical, not provocative. If she had been in the water, maybe it might show a little more, cling a little tighter, but no, Sara had to stay put on her pedestal.
So, one day, a very bored Sara decided that she'd stir things up a bit, have a little "accident" to entertain herself and the guests. It all started...
