Jerry is about to signal for the waitress to order when he looks down at his coffee cup. The hot black liquid begins to ripple in the ceramic mug. Jerry looks up at George and the both feel another tremor.
"What was that?" George asks.
"Maybe they're doing some demolition work outside?"
Both feel another quake much larger this time that causes the lights in the cafe to flicker. They stare at each other from across the booth. They then hear screaming and look out the front window to see crowds of people running by.
"Is the marathon today?" George asks.
"No don't be silly that's not till November. Maybe it's some sort of parade or street fair." Jerry says.

"I don't think so." George says.
As both men's eyes are trained on the window from the street Kramer stumbles in through the door panting and gasping for air. Both Jerry and George get up from the table and head towards their friend.
"Kramer. What's going on out there?" Jerry asks.
"Jerry. George. It's Elaine." Kramer says hunched over taking gasps of air between each word.
"Elaine? What does she have to do with is?" Jerry asks confused.
"She's coming this way. And she's huge!"
