Silver loved going to the local farmer's market. Her grandparents house in the countryside was not close to any major grocery stores, so this was just about the only place she could go to get fresh produce. As she shopped, looking at the vast assortment of vegetables, she looked up and noticed a strange shack in the woods nearby.
"What's that?" she asked one of the vendors.
"Oh that? It's just some old shed. It's been there a while. There have constantly been rumors about it being haunted or something, but it really is probably someone's old tool shed."
"Hmm..." she muttered as she curiously looked at the shack. She eventually got too curious, so she placed her newly-bought food in her truck, and walked through the thick brush to the shack. It was shabby, and covered in a thick layer of moss and ivy. Silver stepped through the doorway to the shack, and noticed that the only furniture was a small wooden table, a chair to compliment it, and, peculiarly, an old, leather book left placed on the aforementioned table.
"...cool! I'm gonna take it home with me!" she said, picking up the book and running back through the brush to her truck before driving home. She got home and it was late at this point. She plopped down on her couch and opened the book, flipping through the pages which were transcribed in a text she did not recognize. She casually flipped through the book, kind of disappointed in it, when she found a page that caught her eye. She was staring at am image of some strange tentacle creature. It was drawn ornately, and was fully colored in with thick, black ink.
"Huh...what is that thing?" she pondered, rubbing her hand across the image.
